Imagineer announced today that a new Medarot compilation is headed to the Nintendo Switch in Japan. Medarot Classics Plus contains all of the games from the 2017 Nintendo 3DS release, as well as three games developed for the Gameboy Advance. Imagineer confirms it’s developing an unspecified Nintendo Switch title

Imagineer has officially announced its support for the Nintendo Switch. The Japanese game publisher has confirmed they’ve begun development on a title set to launch on the platform sometime after the start of the next fiscal year, which begins April 2018. While the press release highlights the company’s involvement with the Medarot series, it must be stressed that the Switch project wasn’t announced to be a Medarot title. That segment of the announcement also promoted the company’s Kanji Test series, as well as their work on licensed characters, like Rilakumma and Gudetama. The company hopes the unspecified Nintendo Switch title can expand their gaming business, by delivering on the concept of being able to played “by anyone, anytime, and anywhere.” Read the rest of this entry »
