Medarot Classics Plus announced for Nintendo Switch
18 06 2020Imagineer announced today that a new Medarot compilation is headed to the Nintendo Switch in Japan. Medarot Classics Plus contains all of the games from the 2017 Nintendo 3DS release, as well as three games developed for the Gameboy Advance. English Medarot R Fan Translation Patch Now Available

Medarot Classics patch 2 now available
7 03 2018Imagineer has launched version 2.0 of Medarot Classics. The patch adds the previously announced multiplayer features and the gameplay Speed Feature for older Nintendo 3DS models. Additionally, the update fixes a number of bugs, including displaying the proper time spent play, slowdown issues that occured with long play times, a bug that prevented using the password system in Medarot 4, among others.
To update the game, launch your 3DS camera application by simultaneously pressing down on the L and R buttons. When there, click the QR code icon on the left side of the bottom screen. Scan the following code that’s right for the version of the game you own.

Medarot Classics 1.1 patch now available
21 12 2017Today is the official launch date for Medarot Classics in Japan and Imagineer has updated the game to verison 1.1. The patch fixes some rendering glitches and the processing speed. It does not appear that this is the previously mentioned software update that adds multi-player support or the speed up functionality for original Nintendo 3DS units.
To update the game, launch your 3DS camera application by simultaneously pressing down on the L and R buttons. When there, click the QR code icon on the left side of the bottom screen. Scan the following code that’s right for the version of the game you own.

Medarot Classics to get post-launch patch to add multiplayer, original 3DS speed-up support
9 12 2017Imagineer has announced that Medarot Classics will not launch with multiplayer support. The company has apologized and explains that the feature will be added through a patch later.
In addition, Imagineer has retracted their previous statement regarding compatibility for the collection’s Speed Feature. Original 3DS models will be able to hasten gameplay after all. This will also be added in a patch after release.

Medarot Classics’ speed function restricted to New Nintendo 2DS/3DS
17 11 2017Imagineer has clarified that the previously announced Speed Feature in Medarot Classics that’ll allow you to hasten up gameplay will be limited to the New Nintendo 2DS/3DS line of hardware. The news came as part of a Nintendo software catalog. Imagineer promises the release will still be enjoyable to players on any hardware variant.

GEO stores to offer bonus sketch for purchasing Medarot Classics
11 10 2017Imagineer has announced that Japanese retailer GEO will be offering a bonus sketch by Horuma Rin to people purchasing Medarot Classics at the store. The company warns that quantities are limited, so it’s best to get your purchase in early.
Amazon Japan is also offering a purchase incentive for the game.
Medarot Classics: Kabuto Version and Medarot Classics: Kuwagata Version launches for the Nintendo 3DS on December 21st. The regular editions of the game will retail for ¥4800 with the “20th Anniversary Edition” running ¥12,000.
