Medarot Classics Plus contains all of the games from the 2017 Nintendo 3DS release, as well as three games developed for the Gameboy Advance. As per the norm for the franchise, the collection will be available in both Kabuto and Kuwagata versions.
Medarot Classics Plus contains:
- Medarot (Gameboy, 1997)
- Medarot 2 (Gameboy Color, 1999)
- Medarot 3 (Gameboy Color, 2000)
- Medarot 4 (Gameboy Color, 2001)

The release’s official website adds that it’ll include save states, an option to skip battles, a sprite gallery, digital copies of the original manuals, new game plus, faster game speed, easier mini-games and support for local multiplayer.
Coinciding with the announcement, the Medarotters Store has added a ¥2,618 Nintendo Switch pouch featuring new art from Horuma Rin. Preorders are being accepted between June 19 and July 17, 2020, with an estimated release set for October.
Additionally, a contest is being held for Japanese fans to have their names appear in the credits.
Medarot Classics Plus launches November 12th and retails for ¥4980. Imagineer will also offer an Advanced Edition featuring both Kabuto and Kuwagata versions, as well as a soundtrack CD for the three Gameboy Advance titles and acrylic miniature replicas of the games’ original box art.
