Medabots AX Hits The European Wii U Virtual Console This Week

3 11 2015

Following the recent European release of Medabots: An RPG Adventure on the Wii U Virtual Console, Natsume has announced that Medabots AX will launch on the service this week. The Gameboy Advance fighting game, which was the first Medabots game released in English, will be available to download starting November 5th.

Here’s the info you need to know:

  • Languages: English, German, French, Spanish, Italian
  • Controllers: Wii U GamePad, Wii U Pro Controller, WiiMote + Nunchuk
  • Price: €6.99/£6.29 each.
  • The game will be sold in both Metabee and Rokusho versions.
  • Manuals are available: Metabee | Rokusho

Every year the greatest Medafighters compete in the World Robattle Tournament. Join Ikki and Metabee as they take on the toughest fighters and their Medabots to prove who is the best.

Teamwork and strategy are the keys to success. Customise your Medabots and win rare and valuable parts from successful battles to increase your chances of victory. Lose and your Medabot might end up on the scrapheap!

The Metabee/Rokusho version includes Medaparts and medals not found in the Rokusho/Metabee version.

The European eShop usually updates around 3PM GMT+1.

Natsume claims a North American Virtual Console release will come in 2016. The Japanese counterpart to this game, Medarot G, launched on their Virtual Console last month.

Update: The game is now out in European markets!
