Back in June, Kodansha and Re:ComicBonBon published a collected volume release of Horuma Rin’s 1998 Medarot manga. It appears that the release was successful, as the company has announced that next year will see the release of more:

While the first collection focused on the original Medarot manga starring Hikaru Agata, this new set will compile Horuma Rin’s followup manga series with Ikki Tenryou. As the release is in its early stages Re:ComicBonBon didn’t have much to share. The hope is to have four omnibuses collecting the Medarot 2, 3, and 4 manga, which originally ran in Comic Bon-Bon from 1999 to 2001. The first volume is expected to launch in the latter half of 2014.

Kodansha had previous released volume versions of these manga series shortly after their run in Comic Bon-Bon. Medarot 2 was collected across four volumes with both Medarot 3, and Medarot 4 having two volume releases.

Hello! I know I’m a bit late to the party but do you know where I can buy the original Medabot manga with Hikaru Agata?

There was a reprint last year. You can buy it at CD Japan: http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/detailview.html?KEY=NEOBK-1497518

It’s obviously in Japanese though.
